Talula

My name is Talula, a.k.a. Tattoooola, and I’ve been tattooing around California for about 5 years. I have always had a strong connection to art and using it as a means of connection and expression both in community, and just for myself:). My brain has always moved fast and I love that tattooing constantly brings me back to myself, and connects me so deeply with my clients. I grew up constantly fighting different illnesses and sickness, one bout of the flu leaving me with lifelong complications, and turned to art as a way to find stillness in the chaos. Through this practice, I realized how important it was for me to bring this magic to others around me. I believe everyone deserves a safe, loving, and magical tattoo alchemy experience, and that is what I aim to provide:).

I love to draw inspiration from everything I see around me, whether that be nature, architecture, energy, music, food, or people. I love to constantly explore new styles of tattooing, and the beautiful challenges that come with it! Some of my favorite current styles are ornamental, black and grey, botanical, flowy/abstract, and linework. I feel so honored to work with all bodies, and love creating beautiful connective experiences with people that they get to carry with them permanently.

I spend a lot of my free time dancing, moving my body in any way I can, cooking, gardening, traveling, and creating art (of course:). I find myself in the things that I love, and am honored to help you find your way back to yourself through the infinite process that is adornment.
