Hi there, I'm River (they/them), or @rstyxtattoo on Instagram. 

I've been an apprentice at Les Tattoo, learning from my mentor Chy (unsaid_ink), since February 2023. Art has been my thing since forever, and I've dabbled in all sorts of styles. A lot of my work draws from dark and gothic influences. Since then, I've been finding my groove and connecting with clients who resonate with my style. 

Being at Les Tattoos has been really nice too. I've met some seriously talented folks, and it's been a safe space for my growth as an artist and as a person. At Les Tattoos it feels like I've found my community, and it's like having a chosen family. It's truly been a life changing experience. I'm deeply committed to providing a haven where my clients can genuinely be themselves. It's about creating an atmosphere of trust and acceptance, where they can openly share their vision and preferences, knowing they're in a space that honors and celebrates their authenticity. This not only enriches their experience but also fosters a connection that extends beyond the tattooing process. 🖤 

I've been in Sacramento for about 10 years, roughly. My roots and family are originally from Ukraine. Leaving my old community was a bit of a shift, but it's been worth it. It's given me the space to figure things out and grow into the person I want to be, living life on my own terms. In my free time, you'll catch me sipping coffee and hanging out with my cat, Charlie. I'm also into competitive game nights, anime, reading some spooky books, and just enjoying the company of friends.

 I'm looking forward to possibly seeing you at the shop, and who knows, we might even get a chance to collaborate on something down the line. :)
