Specializes in: anime and manga tattoos, with experience in color, black and grey, and blackwork

Hey, I’m Void Fox, a second year tattooer at LES Tattoos. On Instagram you can find me under @voidles. I specialize in anime and manga tattoos, with experience in color, black and grey, and blackwork.

I was born and raised in Sacramento, and after high school I attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City. I did seven months of an illustration degree before dropping out to pursue tattooing in California. LES Tattoos is my second shop in my career and definitely my home.

I’ve done guest spots in Brooklyn, NY as well as anime tattoo conventions in Miami, FL and Richmond, VA. I love to travel for work and plan to do many more guest spots in the future. I’ve also worked on flash days for donations to charities as a part of shop events.

Getting a tattoo, especially a first tattoo, can be an extremely daunting process. I take pride in being knowledgeable about working with LGBT+ and disabled clients, understanding their unique needs and anxieties in such an intimate experience. More frequent breaks, snacks, stress toys, and reassurance are all tools of my practice. I believe a positive first tattoo can lead someone to a lifelong love of tattoos, and passing on my love of tattoos is what I strive for every day.

Outside of tattooing, I’m an oil painter. I was taught by my grandfather how to draw and oil paint when I was a kid, which led to my love of art. I also collect manga and concept art books to supplement my work. My favorite manga artist is Junji Ito, a horror mangaka who creates macabre and disturbing stories with black ink and suspense. I also cosplay and am an avid gamer. When I’m not working on my art, I do trivia nights with my little sister or chill with my cats, Moonpie, Junkrat, and Ghost Cat.

I absolutely love hearing about new anime, or even hot takes on classics, so please tell me during your next appointment!
